Contour Advanced Systems Designed, build and Integrated an Indoor Ship Handling Simulator (SHS) with 6 Ship Bridges able to train naval crews at the same time. The SHS is build jointly: CSC (software) and Contour AS (Hardware + Installation) and exist of 3 programs:
1) Build and integration of the 2 full ship bridge simulators and 4 procedural trainers;
2) Full Electrical and Mechanical installation of the building;
3) Removing existing bridge simulator to replace by new one.
These simulators required a combination of 'One Stop' competences during the engineering and construction phases, such as: Mechanical, Electrical, Special Climate, Security and Sheet Metal to complete this innovative complex system. In addition, specials requires more and more environmental solutions, and due to the size of the program CAS was asked to act as Chain Manager for their part.
Quality Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AQAP 2010, Health & Safety (NL-VCA), F-Gas and Technical certificates support the CAS quality strategy. In addition, CAS employees are screened by MOD.
