Contour Advanced System (CAS) engineers, builds and maintains innovated high fidelity simulators for MOD Armed Forces and Security Forces. In addition, CAS did a full integration of the simulators into the different buildings. Good examples is, the Army Tactical Indoor Simulator, jointly build with Thales, where 150 soldiers can be trained at the same time, check Tactis: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSC3OZzOX1M . Other simulator is, a full ship bridge simulator, called Ship Handling System (SHS), build together with CSC, please check: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UEt3hBA9RnM (examples can be find under projects). This requires a combination of 'One Stop' competences during the engineering and construction phases, such as: Mechanical, Electrical, Special Climate, Security and Sheet Metal combined solutions to engineer full (complete) innovative systems. In addition, specials requires more and more environmental solutions, such as: Smart Energy, NBC (over-pressure), EMC/EMP, Tempest, Shock & Vibrate, Dust and Ballistics. To complete, CAS can act as a Supply Chain Manager, as is required by most of its customers.
Quality Certifications: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, AQAP 2010, Health & Safety (NL-VCA), F-Gas and Technical certificates support the Contour quality strategy. In addition, CAS employees are screened by MOD.
Additional Certification: CAS has been assessed by HPE, Lockheed Martin and NL-MOD (ABDO)
Ship Handling Simulator
SHS is an Indoor Ship Handling Simulation program with 6 Ship Bridges, able to train naval crews at the same time. SHS is build jointly: CSC (software) and Contour AS (Hardware + Installation)
