Contour Advanced Systems develops outdoor solutions for energy storage. We build battery energy storage systems (BESS) for organizations that want to reduce peak demand, store energy temporarily, or operate off-grid.
From battery to energy storage system
A battery is only functional when it is part of a well-functioning system. That is exactly our role: we build custom energy storage solutions based on the battery you use. Lithium batteries, flow batteries or second-life batteries – our team can handle them all.
As a system integrator and one-stop-shop, we work closely with battery suppliers. We handle the design and provide the enclosure, electrical connections and integration of the battery management system (BMS). Additionally, we take care of safety features and manage the testing process. We deliver white-label solutions to OEMs, rental companies and installers.

Thermal management
Temperature control is crucial for every battery storage system. Contour Advanced Systems designs every solution with optimized heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC). We have extensive experience with both air-cooled and water-cooled systems and can also integrate heat recovery options.
Quality and reliability
Our energy systems are built in accordance with PGS 37-1 and 37-2, NEN 1010 and all relevant standards for electrical safety, fire protection and system reliability. Our trained staff builds in a dedicated production environment, ensuring safe, future-proof solutions – even as grid capacity or regulations evolve.
