At Contour Advanced Systems, we believe sustainability starts at the design. We make conscious choices about materials, processes, and applications—tailored to each business unit and project. Our focus is on modular systems that last longer and remain flexibly deployable. We apply retrofit solutions to upgrade existing systems rather than replacing them, and we use recycled or reusable materials wherever possible.
With Life Cycle Analyses, we provide insights into the environmental impact of our high-tech solutions. This enables our clients to make well-informed design choices based on carbon footprint considerations.

The source of our experience
Contour Advanced Systems traces its roots back to 1905. What began as a family business under the name Klein Poelhuis has grown into a leading system integrator. In 2001, we launched KP Special Projects, focusing on high-tech solutions for the defence and datacentre markets both in the Netherlands and abroad. In 2012, this division was renamed Contour Advanced Systems.
Today, we are active in five markets: Defence & Security, Intralogistics, Datacentres, Energy storage en Special Enclosures(Innclose). Thanks to this unique combination of technical expertise all under one roof, we can act as a one-stop shop or supply chain manager. From design to installation and maintenance—we deliver quality at every stage.
